Hi, just wondering does anyone know if it is only universitys and IT's that will allow you to get the grants. im interested in doin an organic horticulture course in limerikc for 2 yrs, but its not in one of those institututions. the qualification would be fetac level 6 me thinks.?

* Higher Education Grants Scheme
* Vocational Education Committees' Scholarship Scheme
* Third Level Maintenance Grants Scheme for Trainees
* Maintenance Grants Scheme for Students Attending Post Leaving Certificate Courses

So I'd assume it's covered. Other requirements include how it has to be full-time. Might be worthwhile contacting the college yourself before you apply

Hi Mr Tim Buktoo

I teach Fetac level 5 courses and they qualify for grants if a student is on a full time course. They are means tested though.
