    The company quotes a 4.7ms seek time (write) over the Raptor X’s 5.9ms, and a 4.2ms seek time (read) over the Raptor X’s 4.7ms. As well as this, Western Digital also says that the VelociRaptor can manage a very impressive sustained data rate of 120MB/sec, compared with 88MB/sec for the Raptor X.

    i still dont see where they're getting the huge increase. thats not an amazing oh my god look at this lets run to the shops to buy 4 for my new raid deal.
