Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

to play lan games on the 360 can you just hook a network cable from one box to the other?

You can use a crossover cable to link them together directly but that could mean constantly swapping the cable. Better solution is to permanently network them but you don't need a router to link them up, you need a network switch. Just put all the network connections currently plugged into your router into the switch instead and then have one regular network cable going from the switch to the router.

if you have an old adsl/cable modem around with 4 network connections you should be able to set it up to connect to your existing router to get a few extra connections going. Thats what i did saved buying a whole new router.
