Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Minor Problem - I hope

Bought a second hand 360 in Gamestop yesterday and loving it so far. However, the majority of the time I have to open and close the tray a few times before it loads the games. It keeps coming up with a white screen saying "if you want to play this disk put it in an XBOX 360". Seems like the kinda screen youd get if you put it into a DVD player.
Has anyone else seen this problem? Is it the kind of thing I cold fix with a lens cleaner or should I just bring the console back for a replacement?
    Any advice would be appreciated?

    p.s. roll on GTA IV:D

Sounds like a device problem. There might be damage to the disc drive, I presume when you bought it there was no mention of any problem? Unfortunately, it could be something which can only be fixed by sending back to the manufacturer.

Edit: I just noticed you bought it in Gamestop, I'd bring it back and tell them about the problem, see if they can do anything for you.

the lens is going in the disc drive. bring it back and ask the manager to replace it straight away...nicely though!

Probably a refurb, sometimes a new one. Anyway, if its a second hand 360 you should have no problems at all returning it!

I bought a second hand console from gamestop. First time they replaced it with a second hand model. That one had a few minor faults so took it back a few days later, they gave me a brand new one then.
