Is there any nice walking routes around Tullamore, that don't involve going down canal line? usually the walking route takes me down new road, down henry street, by sacred heart school, down by convent, william street, bridge street, high street, o'moore street, and back out clonminch....

am sick of the usual route nd am looking for somewhere different.....:D;)

Yeah be careful if you're out walkin in charleville, esp in the evenings.
A good walk ... out the arden road, up Collins lane, down the clara road, up clontarf road, onto Kilbeggan bridge and back into town.

Withn the long Summer evenings coming (fingers crossed for finer weather) if you have a car, it's a short drive to the Slieve Blooms. You could park your car and do your half hour walk, likewise drive out to Boora , fresh mountain or bog air what more could you want. Have you tried walking the Canal out the other direction towards Rahan.

also, forgot to say, theres a few nice walks out by the golf club, but trafic goes pretty fast off that road, if ya could get onto a side road there is lovly walks down there! or if you go out the kelligh road and take the left just before the water tower. park your car on the left and head off walking, lovly down there!

edit: Sorry, quoted a message above by mistake:D
