Great shout on Creatures 2-fantastically graphic puzzle games.

1: Final Fantasy 7 (No game ever had as big an impact on me)

No idea how too rank the others but Resident Evil 1, MGS 1 or 3, PES 3 or 6, Red Alert 2, Goldeneye.

I still haven't played SOC yet, I think I need a lend of it from someone soon.

EDIT: I might throw in Terminator 2 on the C64 as well. And the Original SF2.

    My fave

    Super Mario Brothers 3 (NES)
Secret of Mana (SNES) - Arguably THE greatest SNES game ever.
    Zelda 3 (SNES)
    Morrowind (PC)
Faxanadu (NES) - First RPG I ever played, fun and atmospheric.

    My most hated
Ryan Giggs soccer (SNES) - A mess of a game, even your own teammates try to tackle you
Aidyn Chronicles (N64)- Bug ridden wreck. Brutal turn-based combat system. The fact that I payed £50 for it back in 2001 still sticks in my craw to this day.
Michael Owen's soccer (N64)- Boring, unplayable and unrewarding.
Robin Hood (Gameboy colour)- Indescribably awful.
Any SNES games made by Acclaim.

p.s. If any one has Twisted Metal 2 I'll buy it off them!

Actually no, I have played several games.

And also I believe the name of the topic was our personal top 5 games of all time, not, the top 5 games that you think others like.

So if you have a problem with my choices, please specify why.

As a casual gamer mine are probably quite different to most who'd describe themselves as gamers:

    1. Tetris - two decades later and still nothing beats it for addictive gameplay
    2. Flashback
    3. Final Fantasy VII
    4. Age of Empires
    5. Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem

    team fortress 2
    rome: total war
    fallout 3
    tekken 3
    half life 2 episode 2

    in roughly that order

worst is hard. Lots of terrible games. Here is a list of games I got recently that I just didn't really play at all - never really got me interested:

company of heroes. It annoyed me because you seem to have to do things all over the place at once
x2 or x3. Seemed too linear or something in the main plot.
dark messiah of might and magic. This probably deserves another look. Got it at the same time as the witcher. The witcher was better so i played that instead.
Left 4 dead. Played through a mission. Tried the pvp. Turned it off and played tf2 instead.
Empire: Total War. Well I played this quite a bit for a couple of weeks, but then the frequent bugs got too annoying, and the fact that I'd become too strong to be challenged without going to war with a major nation at all. Didn't meet my expectations i suppose

its a below par lineup, what else can i say?

you're a brave man for coming out with that list anyway :pac:
