hi Dose anyone know when the Interviews are on for the Garda Reserve in the Dublin area I have heard that they are on in April but I have applied and I have not had word back for a date time or location?

I got a date and time it's on wenesday at 1pm

Hey all,

I sent my interview application form away about two weeks ago and got a phone call literally as soon as I sent it away offering me an interview for the following week but unfortunately I couldn't make that interview but said I would be free a few other days in May because I am snowed under with end of term school stuff and exams but thankfully ill be done in June so should I phone and discuss another interview date or would it be best to wait for them to phone me back? The person from publicjobs.ie said that they hold interviews every Wednesday so I might be able to schedule a suitable date soon.

that was fast are you prepared? are you in dublin by any chance?

if I was you I would ring them up or send in another application form. because you never know they might forget about you.

I am prepared but you never really know what they are looking for and I have no idea how many people are going to attend the Interverw and the exam?

Does anyone else have their interview anytime soon? Any advice from anyone who has recently done it, what q's they asked and how they replied??

From the charter:
# You may not describe or request, in any way, details of any role plays, video clips, examinations, questionnaires, spoken word or physical task that may be used in the recruitment process of any employer. Helping someone prepare for an interview is fine, but telling someone what the questions are before the exam is cheating.

I would also direct you to our Garda Reserve Recruitment forum for information regarding the Garda Reserve, but be warned, I wrote the same above line in their charter as I did this one.
