    Friends, brothers, countrymen! HEar mine pleease!

    I haz been unjustly and fascistly banned by the evil "Myth" for merely expressing my opinion on teh internetz. This is ridiculous! I thought boards.ie had free speech and all that jazz!!! I demand retribution! Rise up with me, my brothers in arms.. RRRAAAARRRGGGHHHHH... >_<.

    I think it is no exaggeration to say that Myth is, in fact, the second coming of Hitler, based on this, and other (go find them yourself, I'm not going to waste my time copying and pasting) blatant power trips. I mean, what did I do wrong exactly?

    my posts were clearly helpful and discussing assurance.. I can't even think what post might have been misconstrued as abusive. And then he didn't answer my PM today, pleading my drunkenness!! This was 10 whole minutes ago! This will not stand! I demand full reinstatement of all my grants.ie access, subscriber status, a hard boiled egg, five minutes alone with rb_ie (hey, his name looks like a face..) aaanndd.... a shrubbery.

    You can't really complain about the ban - but I completely see why you posted what you did. The post you quoted in your swan-song was a self-contained travesty.

    Don't see much wrong with the whole life 'insurance' thing either. The OP wasn't bothered by it!

    And if Myth is the nearest to Hitler redux you ever meet, you will be very damn lucky!

    That said ... the post before yours would raise my temperature too.

    Someone around here (might have been nesf) used to say that sometimes when you really feel the overwhelming need to call it as you see it, then it may be worth it to just do it, take the ban on the chin, and move on.

    Good advice in this case, imo.

    Yeah, that's generally what I do *looks sheepishly at collection of minor & temporary bans from various corners of boards, and pile of infractions in the corner*

    I know the ban was justified, and I'm not actually appealing it... To anyone who missed that. Good day to you, good sirs!
