Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Can anyone recommend the best travel guide to use (lonely planet, rough guide etc)?

    Or better yet anyone have one they would sell me? PM me if you do

    Footprint has a new 2008 edition out. I bought this one a while ago as they list a lot of less mainstream places that Lonely Planet covers. I also find they give more information.

    Look on Amazon for second hand ones. You can pick them up fairly cheap from there.

    Footprints is the only way to go for South America. Found the LP pretty poor in comparison. More accommodation, eating, travel tips etc. Enjoy!
