    Hi,

I'm thinking of getting a laptop. I'm willing to spend about €1000 on it. one of my mates had wicked trouble with a DEll. it was clearly faulty, but they did everything but give him a new one.

I've another mate, who has a hp. he loves it. I've seen it and played around with it a while. it looks class and feels really light. he payed about €1500 for it though.

what I need it for is basically, College work, and also Music and Films (although, I'll probably have these saved on a n External hard Drive, so it won't clog up lots of memory.

I don't want a celeron processor, and preferably 2gig memory...

Any recommendations on a good one?

I'm open to a sony Vaio one aswel.

    thanks,

    Looder
