    Cheap insurance for new drivers

The inclusion of that single line is worse than anything on the car. Honestly, like.

Probably could not be a worse car for new drivers with the recent trend of every felter/"Boy Racer" in the country having a 1.9TDi.

You have to develop a liking for fibreglass and bad paint jobs.

Seriously though, there's usually a solenoid button under the mirror (TVR shtyle) or a remote control.

He 'forgot' to tell the tax man that it'd not a 1 litre anymore yet he tells the whole country through DD that it's a 1300 !

Is that brace a piece of half inch copper pipe? Plus I'm unsure what the idea of hanging the steering wheel from the rear view mirror is.

Is that the crash bar that's painted mustard yellow behind the front bumper? Engine bay looks like a dodgy job too, 2/10 :p

Apologies if it has being posted already. Appalling looking piece of scrap. You so know it'll need a hell of a lot more than a waterpump

I wonder how much he was paying to ARB to insure that heap; good as they are for getting otherwise difficult to obtain quotes, they are usually very expensive.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,934 ✭✭✭Renegade Mechanic

In fairness, I love the flag idea of the engine bay/bonnet. If only the colour scheme was correct....

In fairness if you browse through the motor ads an awful lot of people seem to be under the impression that their 4 door car is a 5 door, skangermobiles or not.

Whats worrying about that ad is that so many people would seem to be genuinely interested in the car on the basis of the responses.

I'm far from a proud person but I wouldn't want to be seen next or near that piece of scrap

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,305 ✭✭✭131spanner

I'm with Renegade, the rising sun design looks well. It'd look well on as proper JDM show car, and under the bonnet too so it doesn't look too stupid when driving it normally. Pity about everything else with it though....
