ST170... just without the spec of one, in any way...

Edit: Just to say, it's not really a skangermobile, but I couldn't be bothered to find the TISACFS thread. :P

There's nothing st about it. A poxy old 2.0 blacktop zetec. There are no st's with sunroofs either.

    So much wrong with this...

A poorly flushed boot and oblong plates are now JDM apparently. Doesn't even have yellow fogs FFS!

Spotted that recently in Carlow. It's even worse in person.

Bonnet scoop totally necessary to get cold air to that meaty 1.4 :pac:

What about that Micra I'd Japanese Domestic Market?

It's not even a March FFS.

Weren't most of these built in england also?

    Shameful carry on...

    http://cars.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/alfa-romeo-159-4850/7147974
    30506005.jpeg

Now to be honest its only the wheels and 'aerofoil' that are ruining it, but they alone make it skanger...

    * I actually really like the red tape under the headlights and round the grille.

That alfa looks cool but needs moar v6 imo

  • Registered Users Posts: 592 ✭✭✭wotswattage

I agree a v6, some lowering and less Halfordsish wheels would make it passable, then again that would make it a completely different car and not a skangermobile!

He nearly nailed it, may as well have missed by a mile...

Have the fog-lights been tinted pink, or are my eyes failing me? :p

I'm more pissed off by the fading badge....nothing makes an alfa look worse than a faded front badge

I presume he mistakenly has one to many 0's in that asking price..?

The only thing scang about that is the absolutely atrocious spelling! Car itself is well done IMHO. Mind you that price could do with a revision:eek:

The price is surely a mistake?

Would've thought the chrome alloys, drifty spoiler and boot system would tick the Skanger boxes, evidently I'm missing something.

Fine line between show car and skanger. That car is probably just about on the right side of the line. If it was a skangermobile then all of the parts would come from the likes of Halfords!

    Not forgetting

    -Paint
    -Bodykit incl. bonnet
    -Sound system
    -Exhaust

    etc

And as per my previous post I was referring to aesthetic mods, sure the ad doesn't mention the engine at all.

My Midget is 100% factory spec outside.

I've not forgotten about that! All in due time, let me get the Saab finished.

The Saab won't be at all OEM when its finished, I know some people will probably call it skang, I don't care though, if thats what they think it is, then let it be.

I have a completely stock Type R Integra, unmodified in any way inside or out, and people still refer it as skanger. Peoples opinions mean nothing to me :pac:

Right. How 'bout a 1,000 horsepower Nissan Skyline. Skang, or potent JDM weapon imported to a civilized (non-Tax'n'Daysul-bass) jurisdiction by a weapons enthusiast? Anyone remember the Grey Import 400cc bikes in the '90s? What fun we had! :D

No, petrol is going up because I'm burning it all doing 90 up the Airport Hill in Cork twice a day laughing maniacally as the read-out shows 9mpg. I'm doing the world a huge favour by burning up the Fuel of Beelzebub so everyone can shave the whales by driving diesel Boras.
