    Better suited to weather forum.

Different regions of the globe have different climates. Climate is influenced by proximity to sea/oceans and latitude (distance from equator)
Here in Ireland we experience a temperate climate that divides the year broadly into 4 seasons.
Some other areas that have temperate climate are parts of south Autstralia, Tasmania and parts of New Zealand. It is Autumn there now.

The tropics (near equator north and south) usually only have a dry season and wet season.

I suggest google "Temperate Climate" This should lead you to tropical climate etc.
