I've a slow puncture in one of the front wheels of my car - I top up the pressure every time I fill the car up but I want to get it fixed.

Is it something advance pitstop or the like could do in an hour or could it be done while I wait?

Its a slow puncture so I imagine this is harder to detect?, at least when I ever fixed them in my bicycles they were harder to detect and fix.

Also how much should it cost to get fixed roughly?

If it's something like a nail, or something obvious penetrating it, it'll only take 10 minutes to repair.
If not, the tyre will have to come off to clean the rim, change the valve and put the tyre back on - about 20 mins to do.

If you have a large dent in the rim, this could be contributing and if it's an alloy, you'll have to get it repaired professionally.

EDIT - to find out the cost, you would have to ask the crowd that are going to do it for you - it could range from €5-20

Not too madly expensive or take too long then, thanks.

As long it's not an alloy and it's buckled!

5 to 10 minutes and any more than a tenner is a rip off if it's a nail or something. simple job.

Think my bosses AMG Merc slow puncture (buckle) was the best I'd ever heard. 900 for a new tyre and 900 for the alloy. No pity for him though :o

You could also repair it yourself in minutes without removing the wheel from the car for about E10 :D
