    A tragedy, just heard about it.:(

    A family of four has died in a house fire in Co Wexford.
    The couple in their 40s and their two young children, a boy and a girl aged 7 and 8, all died in the blaze in Clonroche on the main Enniscorthy Road.
    The alarm was raised shortly after 5.30am this morning by a man from a neighbouring house who discovered the fire.

    The fire brigade from Enniscorthy arrived a short time later to the two-storey house.
    The bodies of the parents and the two children were found inside. Their bodies remain at the scene.
    Post mortem examinations on the bodies will be carried out later today and gardaí have begun an investigation into the cause of the fire.

    Gardai are treating the fire as extremly suspicious, looks like the mother was shot!
    Gardaí are treating the death of a family of four after a house fire in Co Wexford early this morning as suspicious.

    RTÉ News understands that Lorraine Flood, 38, a mother of two, sustained a gunshot wound at her home in the village of Clonroche, between Enniscorthy and New Ross.

    Her husband, Dermot, aged 40, had also sustained serious injuries and was found dead in the house.

    The couple's two children, Mark, aged seven and Julie, aged five were also found dead after the fire.

    Gardaí are awaiting the results of an initial pathologist's examination of the scene to try to establish what happened.

    The fire was spotted by neighbours of the family in Clonroche just after 5.30am this morning.

    At least one neigbour entered the house to attempt to rescue the family but was beaten back by flames and smoke.

    The alarm was raised at about 0530 BST on Saturday by a neighbour.
    Fire crews who attended the blaze found the bodies of the parents and the two children inside.
    The bodies have been removed from the scene for post mortem examinations to be carried out.

    i was up this morning and saw the fire brigade racing to that direction but didnt think much of it. Was in the four courts and heard a judge and barrister talk about it, i was in shock! Im not going to speculate but if it is similar to the dunne tradegy, somethign is seriously wrong in terms of councilling etc in Wexford

    Its about year since the family died in Moageer also.Terrible news, may they rest in peace
