Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi everyone,

I am looking for some impartial advice on bringing someone to the small claims court please. In essence the reasons are fairly simple and I do not think I am being unreasonable in my requests and how I have been dealt with is not fair:

Purchased an apartment, almost one year behind schedule. I am now living in it and have had a number of problems, the main ones being outlined below:
    • Recieved keys on 16th December, and had no clean water until mid february. It was undrinkable and not clean enough to wash clothes etc
    • Bins are rarely emptied and with it at approxamitely 10% occupance they still regularly become overfilled and will eventually attract rats
    • Carpark has flooded on a number of occasions and spaces are a mismatch of too big and too small
    • Exterior of my apartment, landing etc is still not carpeted
    • Management company do not return phonecalls or resolve issues,

I am a very reasonable person and I understand that things go wrong, mistakes happen, but I recieve no level of care from either the builder I paid for the apartment or the management company who I paid €1200 for one years management. The reason I am looking at going down this route is that I was abruptly told that I will recieve no compensation for the inconvenience of the water issue, this angered me and I am now going to seek compensation by other means,

Can anyone please indicate to me whether I have a decent case, and if so waht way I go about setting the wheels in motion. I paid what I was due to pay and all I want is to be treated accordingly and get what I am entitled to,

    Thanks for reading,

Its a shame you went to the trouble of typing that long post without reading the charter and the rather obvious stickies.
