A load of horse****, ask 100 people about their sex lives /previous partners etc and guaranteed most of the information they supply will be incorrect for all kinds of reasons.

typical of the telegraph to take that sort of spin on the survey.

If the state couldn't get a decent handle on British society and the economy through surveys like this they'd be bitching and moaning about wasted resources and complaining about the lack of decent planning and foresight.

You see its not really about getting a handle on British society.

Its about letting people know that nothing is private anymore.

Big brother wants to know everything.

Eh, it's a survey. It's to help build up statistics. And not only is there no way of finding out if you're telling the truth, you don't even have to fill it out. Even for a slow news day, that's a terrible article.

    Explain this comment please.

Why does the government want to build up statistics?

Big Brother that why, nothing is sacred anymore.

Seriously, stop your paranoid scaremongering. Why do any statistics exist?

Its beyond me why they exist.

As they say, there are lies, damned lies, and statistics.

This country really is turning into a dictatorship.

Next thing they will be telling us that the only time I can bed the wife is at ten past nine on a Friday. (For us its usually during the break of Faircity on a Tuesday)

You can also add these to the list of quizz/ spy on joepublicukstyle.co.uk

Bus driver last wek was fined £200 by his local council for not closing the top of his weely bin properly .

Parents who send the children to a different band area to the one they live in are being investigated.

people who let the dogs fowl the parks and streets along with litter droppers to be followed and proecuted.

While the last two may seem like a good idea it has never being a better time to wage war on joe public from all sides of officialdom .

The list of ideas continues to grow by the day .

Not as a rule, but I'll make an exception for my personal favourite idiot, casey212.
