Spokes Coming loose

in the last few weeks, my spokes have started to loose frequently. For example, they were all ok tonight and about halfway through the orwell randonee today one had got really loose. Is there anything I should check apart from just tightening them?

It could be that your wheel is out of shape.
If the tension is not even over all the spokes then the this could be the problem.
Getting the tension right yourself with out a wheel jig is a shot in the dark.
Bring it to a bike shop and get them to re-tru the wheel.
