Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Advice on Buying a Practice

    Hello There Everybody,

I am hoping to purchase a small - medium sized accounting practice in the Munster area over the next few months or when a suitable one arises.

Do anybody out there have experience of buying / selling a practice / block of fees and if so what advice would they have to offer on the subject.

What might be a good way of sourcing possible targets in this area ?

Thank for any advice or suggestions.

    Regards,

    Chevy RV

Get an independent due diligence report done.

    Review client base and fees.

Would you consider setting up a practice of your own.

I would consider setting up on my own but I really think that in order to achieve critical mass any way fast that you need to buy a block of fees or a practice.
