USA Sat Nav

Don't know if this is the right place but feel free to move if i'm wrong..

I'm heading over to America in a few weeks and i'm oing to be renting a car while i'm there. Obviously i'm not going to have a clue where i'm going so i'll probably need sat nav. You can get it with the car rental but it is pretty expensive, does anyone know of a cheaper way to rent/buy sat nav with US maps??

Well if you have your own sat nav download the maps! Easy as that.

If not try borrow one off somebody surely you know someone who has a portable sat-nav.

If you have a PSP you can get an adaptor to make it act as a sat-nav, if you have a high end phone ie Nokia N95 can be used as sat-nav
