00 Vw polo repair estimates?

    Hey there, i was in at an auto-repair shop yesterday and got a quote of 58-65 euro per tyre on a 00 polo hatchback,
    58 for firestone and 65 for bridgestone, any reason to choose the bridgestone over firestone? 30 euro extra for tracking!also i was quoted at 110 for new front shocks and 120 for rear shocks, reasonable?

    Might also get my brakes done, how much for pads?discs?

    Any help would be greatful!!:)

    Hi,
    i dunno about bridgestone/firestone thing but the prices you quote are quite good.
    Where did you get them from? and 30 for the tracking? advance pitstop charges 50 quid for that. :)

    The pads themselves cost around 40 quid. If you dont have two left hands you can replace them yourself.
