    The UL homepage is down at the moment.

    Do I sense another f**k up by the IT department in UL.

    you know the way on the log in page it says this:

    ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS AWAITING EXAM RESULTS: RESULTS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL 9AM ON MONDAY 23RD JUNE 2008.

    does it say that every year?? i never remember seeing the other years..maybe they're keeping them till monday and then everything will run smoothly on monday..:D

    Harpy, I think that it normally says something like that until fourish on the Friday, then the pandemonium of trying to log into a rapidly jamming system begins. Waiting on my final results, sick feeling in my tummy, haven't received notification of repeats or fails yet, presume I'd know already if fyp had been canned.:eek:

    To save people some time over the weekend, I have it on pretty certain information (from the outgoing Education Officer who has been working on this with ITD along with the other outgoing officers) that the results *actually* won't be going up before 9am on Monday. ITD have put in a lot of work into getting it right this time (people are coming in early, the external server people on the ground in UL, backup system in case it crashes, loads of other techy things that I don't be knowing) so hopefully things will be ok.

    Right, my friend text me to say that our results were up on our LAN. I bit the bullet and checked..all good!! Phewww!:) Graduation day out in October here I come!:D



    And now the hardest part yet..to a find a job!:(

    I got a letter on Friday. I failed Law (Company, for those interested), which is a real sickener, as now I can't graduate with my class. I did find out that I got a B1 for my FYP, which I'm very happy with!!

    Getting more 'grrrrr' by the minute... I'm going to be over in UL fairly soon so I'll try on the network there and report back if it's any better. If not I'm ringing ITD and asking what all these people 'on the ground' are doing!!



    Edit: Back-up server has kicked in methinks. Have just accessed results. \o/

    i just got in and got them keep on refreshing the page till it comes up

    if it fails at any of the log in session hit refresh at that part dont start again

    edit didnt fail anything either and dnt think a 2.8 after first year is that shabby :p
