    Hello,

I am an eircom customer with a land line but no broadband.

    http://www.eircom.ie/cgi-bin/bvsm/bv...ceiedfgodfik.0

The link above is for signing up for access to the hot spots for people in my situation but it doesn't work. The username and password are never sent out and no one in customer service can help. They are complete rubbish. 90% of them are not aware of the service even existing and they tell me to go buy vouchers. I spent around 40min on the phone with them today being transfered around to all the departments, Sales, Broadband Support, Hot spot support, blah blah blah, no one know anything.

Its seem like a good deal for 30euro if I could just get it.

    anyone have a similar problem?

Your link doesn't work, it's been abbreviated. Even if it wasn't, it probably wouldn't work anyway as eircom's site uses browser sessions which time out.

I had a look through their hotspot info, it says
What do I need to access the service?

You will need 4 things to begin using eircom HotSpot.

    1. You will need a laptop or handheld with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g wireless capability.

    2. You will need a standard Internet-ready browser on any operating system. No additional software is required.

    3. You will need an eircom Subscription or wireless access voucher.

    4. You will need access to an eircom Hotspot - click here
Have you bought a voucher, since you're not an eircom broadband customer?
