I'm posting here on behalf of my father. (He has no clue about forums and is THE slowest typer ever) He is just wondering what people's experiences of them are, and if they are worth the extra money? Thanks a lot :)

personally, i think too much can go wrong in the construction process. I have heard horror stories of botched blocklaying.

And they are expensive to the point of being uncompetitive, IMHO
