help ?

Hello all.


Ok, i bought GTA, and i havent been interested in gaming for a long time,
so im pretty new to the 360 etc.

Anyway, i tried to set up live, (using the free month that come with GTA, yes sir, im cheap) and i believe i have set it up successfully.


However, i was wondering if someone could quickly explain to me how i go about getting into games against people on the interweb?

I am a loner on live (It was going to copy my msn contacts over that also had live, but the 360 froze up and didnt do anything, so i have no friends, boohoo)


So pretty much, is anyone here gonna be online for a long time tonight (i work crap hours, so i'l lbe on til morning most likely, trying to figure it all out) that would like ot give me their gamer tag, so i can *try* to work it out and get into a game?

If you want to play against randomers then go into the game and open up your phone. Then navigate the phone's menu to "Multiplayer". From here pick either Player Match or Ranked Game then pick a mode. You'll be taken to a room with players, or you will host a room and have to wait for people to join.

If you want friends, look at one of the 2 or 3 threads here with a list of gamertags. The "Live tonight" threads and "Post your gamertag" threads, they are near enough to the top of the GTA forum. You just missed a load of us playing tonight and I'm heading to bed so won't be able to give you a walk through.

You fukker, I knew that was you! I stopped for two seconds to look around Times Square when I first got there and you ran me over with a bloody bus!

That was a great game, a very nice way to get the hang of multi-player, cheers for inviting me to play! I'll see you online next time man (and I'm gonna kick your arse for that bus incident, trust me)
