Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Accessing "My Pictures" etc folders from different Windows

I was running Vista, but I got a new harddrive and installed XP on it.

The Vista drive is now Drive F, but I can't access my F:\Users\John\Documents\My Pictures folder from Windows XP. It appears hidden, and it says "access is denied"

Is there anyway I can open this from my XP install?

Thanks, I've done that, but the one folder that I want to open is the one folder that doesn't have a Security tab when I go to properties.

I've disabled "Use simple file sharing", but there's still no Security tab on that folder.

Maybe something to do with it being a Vista folder? Lots of the guides I've found online seem to be written before Vista came out.

Your pictures should be in F:\Users\John\Pictures

That my pictures is just a shortcut to the above folder for programs that would have the my pictures link from within documents hard coded.

Ah! Good spot! Thanks, I'll try that when I go home.
