    I tried photographing a mural in ballymun today , the lighting was appaling , was forced to use my on board flash , so i have this big white flash mark at the bottom of pic , can it be removed anyway in ps

    Yep, you should be able to apply an adjustment layer with a layer mask to only correct that part. I'd go with a curves layer then use the circular gradient tool in the mask to only apply the correction to the affected part of the image.

    I'd do if for you but I don't have time.

    EDIT: Right here's a quick attempt. I didn't use a curves layer in the end as I realsied that the flash head blown out much more of the area (here's a place for shooting RAW!). So instead I painted a new layer with the missing colour over the burnt out area and blended it onto the original using the multiply blend mode. I used a layer mask to tweak the edges.

    PM me if you want the PSD file. Its about 7MB winrared and saved in max compatibility mode. (Which is stupidly big TBH :)).

    Its a little flat in the middle but that can be easily fixed by adding a bit of noise to match the rest of the shot and burning in some darker tones on the "healing" layer.
