Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All,

I have Debian installed and I wanted to try speed things up a bit on this old laptop.

I have gone into 'System-Administratio' and disabled two of the srevices I don;t need (printing support and atd) but now I'd like to disable some unneeded modules , such as bluetooth and a few others.

Can someone tell me what command is used for starting/stopping modules ?

so glad I made the change to linux , everything you could possibly want to do , right at a command line level :) not that I'm afraid of mice or anything .
