Code for this model radio cannot be calculated from serial no. You need to go to main dealer or to someone in your area who can decode car stereo.

I have a second hand car. I got clutch done recently, as a result the battery was removed.
As a result the stereo is looking for a code. But I do not know it.

How would I go about finding it out? It is 4 digits and It is not in the Manual.

Ring or call into a Renault dealer with the reg number, they will give you the code, there maybe a charge for it though

pop the radio out and there will be a letter followed by 3 digits
eg: T814 - Security

Post up that code and we can give you your code

V codes are from dealer, but you can try email one of them and they might send it to you, though most charge for it
