Hi I've an 06 ford cmax

I can't seem to be able to pull out the radio to check the serial number.. is their any other way of getting the codewith my registration number or anything as I can't budge the thing?

Try pressing either 1 and 6 or 2 and 5 together,it might bring up the serial number (worked for me on a Fiesta)

I have a golf mk4 the radio has gone into "safe" mode. The radio card is not in the manual or wheel well. How do I go about getting the code? Pulled the radio out. The serial number seems to be 014VWZ1Z3Y6335368. Does that make sense?

Codes for VW radios with vwz serial numbers cannot be calculated from serial number. Ask at your local garage as to where they get their radios repaired / decoded.

As per thread title, Ford V codes are not available here.

You need a commercial unlocking service.

Looking for a code for a 6000 CD RDS E.O.N Ford focus radio.
Tried taking the radio out but no joy to find correct serial number.
Tried pressing 6&1 simultaneously and here is what is on the display.....
First: MGP DJS
Then: 4-09
Then: 07-02-00
Any help is much appreciated.

These details will not help in sourcing your code. The radio will have to be removed..

Can't deal with the silence in my car. the radio in my Audi A3 has gone into safe mode after changing the battery so I had rang the local Audi dealer but they want to charge 150 quid for it which is a joke for a 4 digit code. So if anyone can help I would be forever in their debt.

I was told that because it's an Audi only they can get the code an that with other car makers their alot easier to get.

There is no trouble in calculating the code for your radio but you must give it to someone like myself who knows how to do it. Check in your area as to who repairs / decodes car stereos.
