Anyone notice the changes in his character how he cares so much now for the losties aka "hurt a head on his curly little head and ill kill you" And how he was so protective of aaron and clair. Just wondering as i've not seen him in a flash forward HOW can…

Just wondering as i've not seen him in a flash forward HOW can they kill off the best character if that is indeed what will happen to him......

Nah, I doubt they'll kill him off. In episode 410,
Jack says that Sawyer chose to stay on the island so, at the time of the flash-forwards, he's presumably alive and well

We were already discussing some of the changes in Sawyer's character here:

But I wouldn't be worried about him dying. Sawyer along with Jack, Kate and Locke make up the core characters on Lost. There's no chance of any of them dying until very close to the end.

Oh, and I think if you remember from the previous season, Hurley conned him into being the nice guy, so it might have rubbed off on him since then.

the flash forward only inolved people who have left the island, as of the most recent episode, we know that sawyer remains behind

i guess season 5 will be following the oceanic 6 off the island and whovers left on the island at the same time so there might be no flashforwards/backs.
