    What exactly do we need to know for trigonometry. Just wondering can i leave anything out to save time. Thanks

    Know what sin, cos and tan are.

    Know the sine and cosine rules.

    Know how to use the compound angle formulae.

    Know how to get the area of a circle sector, or the length of an arc.

    Bring a protractor on the day of the exam. If you don't know which to use (ie. sin, cos, tan) ,just measure the angle and work backwords....Works for me!

    Know the sine and cosine rules.
    Know how to get the area of a circle sector, or the length of an arc.

    Those are in the log tables, so you don't have to know them off by heart. But you need to know how to use them, and when to use them.
