    Haven't snapped pics in a while but these are from Apr 28th at about 6:35pm

    Not sure what type of clouds these are(the swivel type), a mixed bunch!

    These are the clouds weather dreams are made of!!
    They are lovely cumulonimus, the characteristic anvil shape is due to the warm air rising meeting a layer of warmer air above, the rising air that makes the cloud is no longer warmer than its surrounds so spreads the moisture outwards in a veil of ice crystals giving them their characteric shapes.

    Showers from clouds like this wil often be of hail and thunder can result from the bigger ones which can grow into Supercells :)
