Hi - does anyone know anything about the above? Can anyone just go down and run there or do you have to be part of a club?

You can just go down there and run during opening hours as along as a club hasn't booked the use of the track/field at that time. Just pop into the office above first and ask, if there's any question as to whether the track is "in use".

Kilcoole AC use it some evenings and seem to cater for all ages & standards. If you contact the reception desk at the sports centre they can probably give you all the info you need. (NOT Jackie Skelly's by the way!)

On weekends the reception desk is closed at 6, so there is probably nothing scheduled for then. I'm not sure if one has to pay for the use of the track? If one does, there would be nobody there to make you pay

Individuals using the track don't have to pay. Clubs do pay for booking it for blocks of time, however.
