First time using bladed spokes (latest basic mavic aksium wheels) and find I am getting a pinging sound from back wheel when giving it a bit of wellie. ( no I am not a Tom Boonen) It occurs when climbing and no it is not my rear mech rubbing against them as it happens even mid block.(12-27). Wheel looks perfect and spokes seem ok. Baffled. Any suggestions as to what is causing it?! Thanks

just bedding in the wheel, check the tension regular , as new wheels have a habit of loosening!

Thanks Kona. Sorry didn't get back to you. Seems to have eased a little so will keep check on spoke tension as advised.
