Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Question about walling

    Hey,

I had a look at a house in an estate, and I'm wondering about your comments on the type of walling. Attached is the polystyrene structure that they fill with cement, and then put plasterboard in front of. Is this type of walling respectable? Is it acceptable?

    Simon

there are two systems in ireland with iab certification

3 or maybe 4 more have bba certification

render , not plasterboard , is used externally

it is know as ICF - insulated concrete formwork

use a certified product - it is a great way to build

Thanks, sinnerboy. It's good to know the name of the method at least :)

I guess the only way to know if this estate is certified is to ask the builder.
