Campy left lever rattle --- remedy?

I have redently completed a self build but notice a slight rattle on my left lever. If I hold the gear lever it seems to go away. Had this before on a xenon grouppo.....upgraded this time to a centaur but still there Are any of you aware of a remedy thanks
