Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    From today's Mirror -
    Dad & son are United
    6/05/2008

A father and son scored 60 goals between them this season as strike partners for their football team.

Doug Rowe, 34, and 17-year-old Doug jnr have also helped Nimbin United win a league and cup double in Southampton.

Doug snr said: "He knows he has to make sure I get most goals or he'll be doing the washing up at home."

Pretty cool achievement! Anyone else played on a team with a relative? I play on the same team as my cousin at the mo and, like may others I'm sure, my Da used to manage me at underage level.

    Nimbin United
    :D

That's quite a high tally of goals.

I wonder what it's like living in their joint at the moment.

I think Eidur Gudjohnsen made his international debut coming on as a sub for his dad... Might be wrong.

    Impressive!

I played on a team with a father and three brothers! The father played into his 50's.

Myself and my brother have played on the same teams for years, but there's only 15 months of an age gap so that's not too impressive. Our cousin was on the same team until we reached the Under 11s season, don't think he's played since!

My dad was manager for a while. That had no influence on his team selections, I swear! ;)

Obvious answer is the Neville brothers for Man United.

you're not wrong. It may even have been his Dad's final game, so they may never have played together!
