Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just wondering if anyone can tell me.
For the Hdip how do you know what subjects you can teach.
Does it depend on the degree you get or the subjects you studied in your leaving cert.

    Thanks

Depends on your degree. COntact CAO or Teaching council for info on both degrees that qualify and subjects you can teach

It depends on your degree only. The Leaving Cert is irrelevant at that stage. If it was down to the Leaving Cert, presumably they wouldn't insist on people having degrees in the first place.

According to the application form it says that one of the subjects you choose must be taken to degree level. Quite how the other one is chosen I am not sure, but presumably it would be a subject that one would have also studied substantially in the course of doing a degree.
