Who are AMT-SYBEX?

They play in Division 7, on Thursday evenings.

From four games they have one win and three draws, scoring 6 and conceding 5 (WDDD)

They beat the 8th placed team 2-1 in the first week of the season.
They drew 2-2 with the 4th placed team in the second week.
They drew 0-0 with the 10th placed team in the third week.
They drew 2-2 with the 3rd placed team in the fourth week.
Their next game is against the 6th place team at 20.30 on Thursday in Columbas.

They WILL be playing the night before we are due to play them.

Exams end the night before and having a party in mine. I'll be there of course but probably worse for wear

Will be flying to Berlin for a friend's wedding that day so can't make it. The cup was great fun over the last few seasons though so ye better win!!

i should be ok for this, nothing planned yet. dan and art are doubtful though as they may be in cardiff for the heineken cup final. will leave them confirm this themselves.

cup runs are exciting, but can end as quickly as they begin! like last year, we knocked out a team from 6 divisions above us and then lost on pens to a team 7 divisions above us. the same could happen to us this year so we need to approach with caution!

however, we should fear nobody! to anybody that has not played much so far, this should be a chance to play and prove your worth, as we will be missing 7 or 8 no doubt for this.

The other team are kicking up a bit of a fuss about the match lads.

They are giving out because they have to play games two nights in a row.

Astro have said the game is to go ahead though.

What are we like for numbers on Friday? I got my 7 a side games on a friday night but if we shortish i can get a replacement for them.

Well I cant play. My heel is very sorry today. Beginning to think it's a recurrence of an injury from years ago. Also beginning to think I might be walking wrong or wearing the wrong shoes or something cause I'm constantly getting niggling problems in my feet/legs. Any ever go see someone about biomechanics? My physio clinic does a free consultation and I was thinking I might go along.

If you think it may be footwear related there's a shop in Bray that will chck your gait and suggest a shoe for you. Used them last summer and helped. Depends what's wrong though.

Still haven't found a replacement for my 7 a side, one of the other lads dropped out too which will make things a little more difficult.

Sweet, I was hoping we'd get a 12th so I could drop out of this one as the shins have gone into nerve damage territory and I really need a full week between games to make it manageable. Got the surgery finally sorted for 9th June so I'll be out for 4-6 weeks after that but the benefits of being able to take something like not hobbling round for 2 days after a game for granted means its a no brainer

It’s pretty pointless to have a cup competition if you still have to fulfill league matches on the same week. Is this included in our registration fee?

What if we played two games in a row and got through to the next round, would we have to play another two games in a row???

Might as well exclude all Thursday teams from the cup and give a refund…
