Still haven't found a replacement for my 7 a side, one of the other lads dropped out too which will make things a little more difficult.

Not sure if i can make it is still the only answer i can give.

Is this 7 a side competitive? Surely your mates wont mind you dropping out if you have a game for your team?

No it's not competitive but i didn't want to jepordise my place since at the moment it's the only football i'm getting.

That said i got a replacement now so i'll be there tomorrow night.

Sweet, I was hoping we'd get a 12th so I could drop out of this one as the shins have gone into nerve damage territory and I really need a full week between games to make it manageable. Got the surgery finally sorted for 9th June so I'll be out for 4-6 weeks after that but the benefits of being able to take something like not hobbling round for 2 days after a game for granted means its a no brainer

It’s pretty pointless to have a cup competition if you still have to fulfill league matches on the same week. Is this included in our registration fee?

What if we played two games in a row and got through to the next round, would we have to play another two games in a row???

Might as well exclude all Thursday teams from the cup and give a refund…

The first 3 rounds of the cup are on Friday nights, there are 7 rounds in total.

Sounds like they bottled it to be honest! Games 2 nights in a row isn't that big a deal. Looks like they're throwing their toys out of their pram when they didn't get things their way.

Well i was fairly pissed off this morning after getting a replacement for my 7 a side but it turns out someone else dropped out too so i still managed to get a spot since i was first to request it. Cheers for early warning Des.

Otherwise it would have been their pub, a petrol tank and some lighters.
