So despite Asda's claims, it appears that the 360 came out firmly on top here.
Would be interesting to see some worldwide figures though

    mmmmm.... Fanboi baiting

Not suprising given that there are nearly twice as many 360 consoles sold in UK than PS3.

Same situation in US where there are 3 times as many 360 sold as PS3.

reckon it'll top the all-time games list?

    2. Nintendogs (DS – 18.67 million)[70]
    3. Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES – 18 million)[40]
    4. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (PS2 – 17.5 million,[24] may include PC and Xbox versions)
    5. Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec (PS2 – 14.87 million)[102]
    6. Pokémon Diamond and Pearl (DS – 14.77 million)[70]
    7. Pokémon Gold and Silver (Game Boy Color – 14.51 million approximately: 7.6 million in US,[18] 6.91 million in Japan)[43]
    8. Grand Theft Auto III (PS2 – 14.5 million,[24] may include PC and Xbox versions)
    9. New Super Mario Bros. (DS – 14.16 million)[70]

:confused::confused: You left out tetris and the original super mario bros., they're the top two.

That list is utter tosh. How 'Nintendogs' a souped up tamagochi can be the second biggest selling game of all time baffles me. I was nearly certain San Andreas was in the top 10, no?

To be honest, I think that's pretty good for sony, considering how long the console has been released. Lets not forget the 360 is twice as old as the PS3.

I thought Sony said yesterday that the PS3 has outsold the 360 across Europe, is it not the same in the UK?

Whatever the case may be, it's still a pretty good achievment for Sony.
