Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone know of an authority or body who regulates building standards?
Basically I want to lodge a complaint against a building company about a breach of building standards.

    Thanks,
    SP

If the builder is registered with Homebond then Homebond.ie is your first port of call.

They have sorted it out but they seem to be dismissing the fact that it was a breach of standards and I would like to lodge a complaint. I have photo's of what it was like before. Am i wasting my time?

If they sorted it out for you without much hastle I wouldn't bother reporting it, unless it was a health and safety hazzard I don't think the autorities will be too interested.

    I would tend to agree

The smell coming up from the pipe was disgusting, the guys who fixed it even said she smelt it. Myself and my partner were off work sick a number of times with headaches/sick stomach's, it may not have been connected but its a possibility.
