What are those things ?

    Found in flower pots or on clay in the garden, tiny spheres about the same size as a styrofoam ball from a beam bag, light green in colour , hard shell but when you squash it it's full of goo

    Sounds like the stuff you spread around to keep the dog from pooing in your flower bed.

    They are probably the eggs of some sort of insect.

    Some fertilisers are like that. A timed release thing.
