Good place for small function?

I'm looking for a place to hold my dad's birthday party in the city. We'll be only 8 or 9 people. Is there basically a restaurant with a function room for such a small group? Or any other suggestions appreciated. Dolan's was suggested to me, that they have a side room in the restaurant. Simon

To be honest very few if any places will have a seperate room that will only cater for such a small group.

I think the best you could hope for is that some place will section off a corner of the main dinning area. Not very private I know.
