    it makes no sense at all cause it certainly didnt feel like we were using much electricity nevermind a bill 8 times higher than any i've had in 3 years of college.

    They'll cut you off, and charge something like 100euro to re-connect, but only after any outstanding amount has been paid.

    I think people should check their units on the bills and compare to previous bills to get the whole picture, checking if the previous bills were estimated or not. And of course if the bill was even paid, in a shared situation like these checking if arrears appear at the bottom of the bill.
