Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I really don't know where to find the answer to this. I'm hoping someone here can help me out.

I've got an Xbox360 and have it hooked up as an extender to the PC. So now I have my vids on media center on the Xbox and PC.

Only problem is that most of my vids have been encoded in divx. When I play them on windows media player they work. When I play them in Windows media center (which is what is needed for use on the Xbox) I get audio and no video.

I've downloaded 3 codec packs, but to no avail. I've also downloaded Divx again and still no change. I reckon windows media center is using the incorrect one... I don't know what I can do.

You don't need to use Windows Media Center you can just use WMP 11 and turn on media sharing in library.

interesting. But the Media Center looks so well finished. I'll try WMP 11, but would prefer the media center.

looks well finished but in fairness its got castrated functionality. Its better suited for use with a media remote.

there is a program called transcode360 that will allow you to watch your divx files within media center on the extender

not sure why their not playing in media center on the pc,once the codec was installed divx files played in media center fine, and i have rebuild my media center 5 times
