Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    the points are awarded based on loads of stuff, not just cards

    stuff like controlling your staff/players, so if city players surrounded the ref after dunne was sent off, thats more black marks, and if any of the staff went up to the ref at half time on the pitch, its more again

    could be interesting

    id say it was more to do with the fact that their best player was sent off in the first 20 minutes

    No our best player was sat on the feckin bench and came on to score. One of other best players (Johnson) was out on the piss in Manchester last night cause he wasn't in the squad while the best young keeper in England was warming the bench.

    Yellow and Red cards: If no cards are shown the score will be 10. For every yellow card will deduct this total by 1. A red card will cost a team 3 points in the ranking. If the red card is the result of a second yellow card the deductions of the two yellow card will be ignored. But if a player gets a direct red card after he got a yellow card earlier, the yellow card will be counted as a deduction. This score could become negative.
    Positive play: For positive play a team can score a maximum of 10 point and a minimum of 1 point.
    Respect to the opponent: e.g. returning the ball to the opponent at a throw-in: maximum 5 points, minimum 1 point.
    Respect to the referee: maximum 5 points, minimum 1 point.
    Behaviour of the team officials: maximum 5 points, minimum 1 point.
    Behaviour of the fans: maximum of 5 point and a minimum of 1 point
    NB: this criterion is ignored when the number of fans is negligible e.g. if there are no fans at all or because of penalty that was given by the UEFA.

    I'm pretty sure the fans have blown it for us.

    Well Fulham have some yellows to come from last weekend. Not sure about ours but can't remember off hand any yellows against Liverpool.

    Apparently our fans were lobbing bottles on the pitch and were baton charged by police so that's what kicked it all off. Just us involved cause Boro don't have any fans!

    That point system is a load of crap, its a magic 8 ball and on monday morning the FA shake it to see what score they get.

    When Ashley Cole near ripped someones leg off and then complained he never touched him the points score chelsea got was for playing a fair game :eek:

    its also updated weekly until they won the spot, hmmmm suspicious?
