Right, I have got my first comp. charger and a couple of 4200mAh NiMh batteries.

What rate should I be charging these at? 1C or higher for a fast charge?
Also any other tips for a noob?:p

    What charger ?
are they stick pack or Ladder pack cells ?

Charger is a DuraTrax IntelliPeak ICE.
    The batteries are stick packs

Oh, also I have been discharging them at 10 amps, the max of the charger, is this what I should be doing, or should it be lower?
    cheers

Personally I would only charge at 1c,
Be carefull about discharging them, Is there a cut off point in the discharge facility ?

Yeah it has safe cutoff for discharging, it is user adjustable I think, can't remember what it is set at (factory default).
