New damage to Lynch's Castle?

Was walking past Lynch's Castle today and noticed what appears to be recent vandalism to some of the stonework. http://photos3.pix.ie/02/17/0217E89935224D81AA0874DDFC0970FC-500.jpg Looks the carving took a blow square in the nose. Anybody noticed this before?
